+This package is an eclectic collection of scripts and snippets used by my
+other projects, primarily dealing with components of the GNU build system.
+The intent is to reduce code duplication between projects by moving useful
+bits into this package; other projects can then include this as a submodule
+and pick and choose the bits to use.
